Jay composes and arranges his music in such a way that allows the listener the freedom to paint their own mental portrait created by the mood and movement of the music.

Jay also plays great "cover tunes" with his long time partner and friend Sonny Cingolani, who is a multi-instrumentalist playing lead guitar, saxophone and flute.
